The source of the debate is a study released a year ago that compared the energy performance of LEED-certified buildings with that of existing, noncertified buildings. The USGBC claims that the study shows LEED buildings to be 25% to 30% more efficient, but Henry says their methodology is flawed. 1. USGBC's false advertising causes consumers of building design and construction advice to utilize a LEED-certified professional instead of Plaintiffs because consumers mistakenly believe that LEED-certified professionals will design a LEED-certified building that is verified by a third-party to be more energy-efficient than the building that Plaintiffs would design;
2. USGBC's false advertising causes consumers of building design and construction services to purchase the design and construction advice contained in the LEED certification system as opposed to purchasing Plaintiffs' design and construction advice;
3. Dollars spent on LEED are dollars not available for more productive, performance-based designs like the ones designed by Plaintiffs.

Despite spending more than $2 billion on rail transit since 1980, transit’s share of Portland-area commuting declined from 9.8 percent in 1980 to 6.9 percent in 2007. The City of Normal's defintiton of Sustainable Development directly states its connection to the Bruntland Commission.
From Normal's 2035 Report:
For the purposes of this project, we have used the widely accepted United Nations Bruntland Commission’s definition (1983):
Sustainability: (n) Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
According to wikipedia the Bruntland Report is also known as "Our Common Future."

Payday Loans Illinois Peoples Action 36% Cap

     The Group pushing for this is Illinois Peoples Action which is the downstate branch of the militant Saul Alinsky schooled National Peoples Action whose founder Gale Cincotta is known as the "Mother of the 1977 Community Re-Investment Act" which after continually being modified pushed the government to force banks to give loans to people who normally wouldn't qualify because they couldn't afford them. Over the years they have participated in protests or some say mob actions on private property along with Acorn and SEIU and at times scaring the heck out of kids home alone. Most recently they have participated in protests along with SEIU big man Scott Lerner who is on audio tape wanting to target JP Morgan Chase as a strategy to collapse the US Economy.

     Moreover groups like these use many charts and studies from The Center for Responsible Lending in their efforts to Cap or ban Payday Loans. Ironically, Illinois Peoples Action is always out to fight the supposed predatory Banks and yet the Center for Responsible Lending is the child of a major Credit Union called "Self Help" Credit Union which was heavily involved in the Sub Prime Mortgage crisis. The Self Help Credit Union managed to help turn $30 million into $1 Billion during the Crisis. You may recall Saturday Night Live did a skit about two wealthy individuals (man and wife) from California who bundled together millions or more in bad loans and profited greatly from dumping them. The couple had ties to Self Help Credit Union.
     In addition Self Help Credit Union has a financial reason to ban Payday Loans. Payday Loans are their competition. Self Help Credit Union specializes in giving loans to people with few options. They charge high Interest Rates and you may say to yourself well that's better than 400% Interest. No it is not! These low income people now without the option of Payday Loans start a cycle of bouncing checks at a high rate. High $30 - $45 fees among some banks add up quickly and as you can see paying $15 for every hundred borrowed at a Payday Lender is alot better than paying High Interest Rates and numerous bounced check fees at a Bank or Credit Union.

     Illinois Peoples Action talks about capping loans at 36% which in the real world is proven to put PayDay lenders out of business. 36% would be less than a $1.50 per every hundred borrowed to process a small $200-$300 high risk of default loan. As any reasonable person can quickly see it is not profitable. In Oregon they did a 36% cap and within a year the Payday Loan Industry was basically dead. In North Carolina where 'Self Help" credit Union is based they banned Payday Loans and studies by the New York Federal Reserve showed low income families were devastated by the ban. Bankruptcies soared and the banks immediately made SIX TIMES more (Billions) in Bounced Check Fees. Banning or Capping Payday Loans takes away options from the poor and in some instances they are now forced to turn to Real Loan Sharks, Bankruptcy, Pay Out more in NSF Fees to Banks, Lose Jobs due to no gas Money, Can't repair their cars, buy medicine or food, etc, etc, etc. Other Studies have shown that Communities with PayDay Loan vendors hold up better when they are ravaged by disasters such as Hurricanes or Tornadoes.

     Also in Illinois payday Lenders employee 5080 people. Putting them out of business would send thousands to the Unemployment Lines, cause commerical properties to sit vacant, greatly reduce badly needed tax revenues to the State and the local community, cause bankruptcies to soar and cause utter devastation in the low income community. Lastly, they call it payday loan for a reason. You are supposed to pay it back on payday! Stand up for liberty, the working poor by giving them options so they can run their own lives and oppose groups like Illinois Peoples Action who want to run yours!

Illinois Wesleyan University, Tallories Declaration, Agenda 21

Outside of the word "government," education appears more than any other word in Agenda 21. Chapter 36 of the United Nations Bible(Agenda 21) titled "Education, Training and Public Awareness," makes the case "education is critical for promoting sustainable development and improving the capacity of the people to address environment and development issues."

The Society for College and University Planning published a document called "Planning for Higher Education." On page 22 is a article titled "Transforming the University Campus into a Sustainable Community," by Richard K. Norton, Andrew Brix, Trevor Brydon, Elijah Davidian, Keely Dinse, and Sanjeev Vidyarthi . The article asserts that the "Talloires Declaration and Agenda 21 served as a call to action for higher education institutions."

According to a article featured on the University Leaders for a Sustainable Future's website (ULSF the sponsors of the Tallories Declaration), titled a "U.S. Progress Toward Sustainability in Higher Education," by Wynn Calder and Richard M. Clugston "there has been growing international interest in the role of higher education in fostering a sustainable future. Agenda 21 and a series of HESD declarations in the 1990s made this agenda explicit." The article also states that HESD Declarations like the Tallories Declaration reaffirms Chapter 36 of Agenda 21.

On April 13, 2007, the President of Illinois Weslyan University Richard Wilson signed the Tallories Declaration (pronounced Tal-WHAR), a Transnational ten point plan of action for incorporating Sustainable Development into higher education. According to the IWU Sierra Student Coalition they approached President Wilson in 2006 about signing the Declaration which was written at a International Conference in Tallories, France. Illinois Weslyan is now an active player in promoting Chapter 36 of Agenda 21.

A recent Guest at Illinois State University Peter Blaze Cochran(Promoting the UN Earth Charter)

In the article he asserts that four organizations agreed to form a Global Higher Education for Sustainability Partnership (GHESP), to combine their strengths in an effort to mobilize higher education institutions to support sustainable development. Notice the Fourth group is a United Nations Organization that serves as the Task Manager for implementation of Chapter 36, Agenda 21. Illinois Wesylan University has signed onto a Declaration that makes them partners with the United Nations Task Master in charge of Education and Agenda 21.

•The Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future (ULSF) serves as the Secretariat of over 280 signatories of the Talloires Declaration in over 40 countries and promotes education for sustainability based on the Earth Charter; (ILLINOIS WESLYAN UNIVERSITY is involved)

•The International Association of Universities (IAU)

•The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is the task manager for the implementation of Chapter 36, "Education, Public Awareness and Training", of Agenda 21.

Illinois Wesleyan University has been busy Planning on how to involve the Tallories Declaration not only in their University, but our community, schools, and our local government. Below are some of their plans of action taken from an IWU website:

     Mike Matejka is a former Bloomington City Council member, Union activist, Task Force member of Community-Wide Sustainability Development Plan 2035 for the City of Normal , and a former Board Member of the Central Illinois Organizing Project, now known as Illinois Peoples Action.

     On July 27th, 2006. The Pantagraph published a article by Mr. Matejka about former Vice President Al Gore’s movie “Inconvenient Truth.” This movie helped launch the End of World hysteria that Central Planners around the Globe used to push their sustainable development agenda on trusting populations. Gore’s movie has since been discredited with over thirty known falsehoods. In 2006 Gore said we only have Ten Years left to save the planet from scorching. Not Surprisingly, Al Gore was also involved in the Chicago Climate Exchange and it has been said he would have been a Multi Billionaire overnight if Congress would have passed Cap and Trade Legislation. Here are some exerts from Matejka’s article:

"That's why McLean County residents should hurry to see Al Gore's film, "An Inconvenient Truth." Using hard science, careful data and a strong moral message, the film's conclusion is inescapable - unless we change our consumption patterns and our rate of CO2 emissions, we are heating up our planet. And heating up our planet alters weather patterns, leading to unpredictable and powerful storms, hurricanes and tornadoes."

." And right now, our current risk of long-term environmental damage is stark and immediate, with the planet's 10 hottest years in the past 14 - this is not a cycle, this is a disaster warning. Run, bike or walk to the nearest theater or video store and screen"

     Mike Matejka is also a former board member of CIOP / Illinois Peoples Action and he recently spoke on a topic at the Illinois Peoples Action’s candidate forum. Illinois Peoples Action is the downstate branch of the militant National Peoples Action whose mission would make the Constitutionally uncompatable term Social Justice come to life in a complete transformation of American Society.      The first major victory for National Peoples Action occurred in 1977 when partnered with the infamous ACORN pushed for and won the 1977 Community Re-Investment Act passed by Congress. The 1977 Re-Investment Act accompanied with the 1989 Amendment to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and additional regulations issued by the Clinton Treasury Department in 1995 forced banks to make loans to people with bad credit and insufficient income.

. These unwise transactions became known as “subprime loans” and were often given without documenting income, revealing credit scores or requiring a down payment. This should serve as a clear warning of what happens when Planners (National Peoples Action) try to correct what they deem as injustice. Their good intentions (in there view ) caused many poor people to obtain home loans they couldn’t afford causing stress on the poor and the banking system. The More the Planners Plan, The More they Get Things Wrong and create Injustices.

The cities of Bloomington and Normal are both involved with the Ecology Action Center. The Ecology Action Centers are springing up all over the world. . The Center recently promoted a movie that was shown on March 27th, at Heartland Community College about environmentalist Aldo Leopold a hero to the green movement. Aldo Leopold was a Socialist who believed only the community and not individuals should own land.

Radical groups like the Sierra Club promote the establishment of these centers in their quest for Sustainable Development and Universal Global Regulations or the complete destruction of property rights and undermining of Nation States. Radical Groups that get funds at the National level from George Soros according to discoverthenetworks.org are partnered with the Ecology Action Center. Such as Indy Media, ( SEAC) Student Environmental Action Coalition, And the Community Foundations.

The Ecology Action Center also suggests getting your news from these publications which have also received funding from George Soros Grist Magazine and Environmental Network News. According to the book “Climate Confusion” written by Dr. Roy W. Spencer a writer for Grist online magazine posted the following comment about people who challenge man made global warming:

“ When we’ve finally gotten serious about global warming, when the impacts are really hitting us and we’re in a full worldwide scramble to minimize the damage, we should have war crimes trials for these bastards—some sort of climate Nuremberg.”

Other groups include No Nukes, Bloomington Normal Citizens for Peace and Justice, The Progressive Alliance of Bloomington-Normal, The JWP Audubon Society is a local branch of the National Audubon Society which was instrumental in helping the United Nations develop the early framework of UN Sustainable Development Policies setting the stage for the Rio Accords. The National Audubon Society signed onto the United Nations document on Human Settlements in 1976 and the Preamble is very, very ANTI PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS.

And this is the Preamble from the document: "LAND...CANNOT be treated as an ordinary asset, CONTROLED BY INDIVIDUALS and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. PRIVATE LAND OWNERSHIP is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore CONTRIBUTES TO SOCIAL INJUSTICE; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interests of society as a whole PUBLIC CONTROL OF LAND use is therefore INDESPENSIBLE...."

Another local group called the Soroptimist International Society of Bloomington - Normal also helps support the Ecology Action Center and according to a Soroptimist International website they are involved and fully support United Nations Agenda 21.

Soroptimist International fully supports the decisions taken at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio 1992 and urges all Governments to ratify and implement the Conventions on:

*Climate Change, Biodiversity, Fight against desertification, Principles of Global Consensus.
In order to implement Agenda 21, Soroptimist International asks its members:
*to become knowledgeable about the National Agenda 21 and especially the Local Agenda 21 which all countries and municipalities have been asked to establish
*to act within this framework, together with the community based organisations

*to increase their awareness, advocacy and action in order to influence decision makers and promote Agenda 21 at an early age, through education in schools,"

It is no surprise George Soros is funding environmental groups and many of them have connections with ICLEI and our local Ecology Action Center. In 1997, George Soros’s Open Society gave ICLEI a $2,147,415 grant to support its Local Agenda 21 Project, also sometimes known as Communities 21. George Soros echoed Earth Charter author Maurice Strong when he stated “America, as the center of the globalized financial markets, was sucking up the savings of the world. This is now over. The game is out,’ he said, adding that the time has come for ‘a very serious adjustment’ in American’s consumption habits.”

Mayor Koos is classified by the Sierra Club and by the United Nations (ngo) International Council on Local Environmental Issues (ICLEI) as a “COOL MAYOR.” The UN (ngo) ICLEI has given Mayor Koos an entire webpage for his “Cool Mayor” profile. ICLEI and the Sierra Club monitor the progress of Cool Mayors in the implementation of Sustainable Development policies. ICLEI provides “toolkits” to local mayors that help influence policy changes in development, watersheds, and land use in exchange for financial rewards. Springfield Illinois is a full member of ICLEI.
Some areas like Edmond Oklahoma and Carrol County Maryland recently withdrew from ICLEI because new elections swept new leaders into office due to public outrage over ICLEI membership and sustainable development policies. The City of Normal is not yet a member of ICLEI; however, having your Mayor become a “Cool Mayor” is a big step. According to the Website freedom advocates the consequences of ICLEI policy changes are as follows:

     The US Mayors Conference which Mayor Koos is a member, also endorses the Earth Charter written by Socialist Maurice Strong and Communist Mikhail Gorbachev former leader of the Soviet Union. Interestingly Strong is a former Secretary General of the United Nations and huge proponent of Sustainable Development even though he currently lives in China, his company builds an average of one Coal Plant per week. Consequently Strong himself is one of the world’s biggest polluters. Maurice Strong was also involved in the UN oil for Food Scandal when he endorsed himself a check for $988,885 dollars. Strong also was a stockholder and board member of the Chicago Climate Exchange and stood to make billions if Cap and Trade Legislation was passed. Maurice Strong after the 1992 Conference in Rio said “Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? And isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”

     Mikhail Gorbachev former leader of the collapsed Soviet Union standing with Maurice Strong at a news conference about the Earth Charter stated ““We have, I believe, to gear consumption to peoples cultural and spiritual needs also through culture and education and within the framework of laws, we shall address the problem of controlling the world’s population.” Mr. Gorbachev also stated that he hoped the 16 principles of the Earth Charter would be the New Ten Commandments.

     A Normal City Council member two years ago was asked if they had ever heard of the Earth Charter? The reply was “ Yes, we have passed it around the council.” Bloomington City Council Member Jennifer McDade played a active role in bringing Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran an author of “Earth in Action” and a huge proponent of the Earth Charter and an advisor to the United Nations to Illinois State University. As an advisor for the Earth Charter Initiative (ECI), Corcoran provides leadership to guide the transition to a more sustainable global community. An Illinois State University website promoting the event stated “ Corcoran will facilitate a dialogue among the participants about Current and Future possibilities for campus and Community Collaborations.”

     Council Member McDade was given all the information in this article and graciously responded to two questions that I asked:

Adopt at all levels sustainable development plans and regulations that make environmental conservation and rehabilitation integral to all development initiatives.

After reading these brief examples ask yourself who granted the New “Rights” to water, clean air, food, and Security? In Addition, ask yourself who is going to oversee the promotion of Economic Justice or wealth Re-Distribution and the universal development plans? Economic Justice in the Earth Charter is talking about taking from the Carbon Producers (The United States) and giving our wealth and energy to the rest of the world. And who has the capability or would like to have the capability to provide an armed force that can guarantee a right to security? They need their State government to invest in their McLean County's mass transit instead of widening their superhighway. And finally, they need an INTERNATIONAL TREATY that'll stop polluters from running and hiding in developing countries, while still producing the green house gases which will destroy life as we know it.”

     In addition, a Yale Law School study in 2008 refers to the US Mayors Conference as a Transnational Organization: We begin with the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM), as the Mayors Climate Protection Agreement provided our opening example of translocal transnational policymaking.

     Mayor Koos in the spirit of Transnationalism bypassed the US Congress and signed an International Treaty, a Treaty so harmful to the United States that even the US Senate found “Consensus” and overwhelmingly refused to ratify it. According to the website Greenspanworld.org Mayor koos said “Supporting the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement is a no-brainer for me.” By signing this treaty the Mayor has committed the City of Normal to the following:

Strive to meet or beat the Kyoto Protocol targets in their own communities, through actions ranging from anti-sprawl land-use policies to urban forest restoration projects to public information campaigns (Our opinion The Call for High Density Housing with fewer parking spaces and the formation of Ecology Centers)

2. Urge their state governments, and the federal government, to enact policies and programs to meet or beat the greenhouse gas emission reduction target suggested for the United States in the Kyoto Protocol -- 7% reduction from 1990 levels by 2012. (Our opinion this is why the push for bike paths, electric cars, thermostat and mileage controls)

3. Urge the U.S. Congress to pass the bipartisan greenhouse gas reduction legislation, which would establish a national emission trading system (Our opinion: Appears to be a commitment to Job Killing Cap and Trade Legislation and the entire scam of trading carbon emissions.)

     The great thing about America up until twenty years ago was in the words of former Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill “All Politics are Local.” Speaker O’Neill was correct and that is how our representative republic is supposed to work. Beginning in 1992 with a United Nations environmental conference in Rio de Janerio, Brazil the entire concept of “Local Control” by the People was flipped on its head and the American people didn’t know it than and most still don’t twenty years later. President Herbert Walker Bush signed onto the environmental accords that provided a detailed blueprint of action to be taken globally and locally by countries, organizations, United Nations (ngos), environmental groups, and every President hence forth including President Obama has directed agencies to implement the accords throughout the federal government down to the local level. The new hip catch phrase in the words of David Bower, founder of the Sierra Club is “Think Globally, Act Locally.”

     Mayor Koos was quoted in the Pantagraph: "What we're doing in Normal is what the federal and state officials want to see happen along the corridor," Koos said. "The directive from the feds is that sustainable, livable communities should be developed along the corridors.” Do you still really think all of these ideas are coming from locals and it’s simply about beautifying main street?

     Sustainable Development is code for Central Planners and these planners are making the plans for every aspect of your life. The Goal of Planners like Doug Farr, hired by Bloomington and Normal to design the Main Street Corridor is to force populations into small, highly populated areas, with few cars, a reliance on bicycles, public transit and to herd unsuspecting Americans into a communal society. They are planning what kind of car you will drive, , If you should ride a bike, How many miles you can drive, Can you use your cell and drive, Your weekly water usage, Your thermostat settings, If your TV is too big, What light bulbs you use, Is your home too big, Are you healthy enough, Can you eat food grown on your own farm, and even if you should be allowed to own property at all in the name of serving the “Collective Good.”

US Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood has been a popular guest of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and he has said “I have joined a transformational adminastration, I think we can change people’s behavior.” Lahood stated on the subject of cell phones and driving… “There’s a lot of technology out there now that can disable phones and we’re looking at that.” Lahood on mass transit ... "It is a way to coerce people out of their cars. Yeah." Secretary Lahood commenting on a mileage tax…” We should look at the vehicular miles program where people are actually clocked on the number of miles that they traveled.” Perhaps Lahood’s most honest comment is “About everything we do around here is intrusion into people’s lives.”   Chapter One of author Terrance Jeffrey’s book “Control Freaks” thoroughly illustrates how Secretary Ray LaHood is using the force of government to manipulate markets to force us out of our cars and even our homes to live in the "high density" housing environments they preferred we would inhabit.   Sadly it appears local planners and Lahood think we exist to simply fulfill their dreams for our lives and not our own.

     New Urbanism Architect Doug Farr of Farr & Associates hired by our community to plan our future isn’t fond of the automobile. His goal is for people only to drive 4000 miles a year like Americans did in the 1970s. Farr has even suggested in interviews that employers start charging their employees to park so people will find a way not to drive. According to the McLean County Pundits website the original Main Street Plan Farr called for banning drive though windows at Fast Food Chains, Dry Cleaners, Pharmacies, etc and even proposed building public showers at taxpayer expense so bicyclist could shower on there way to work. Doug Farr Tweeted at the Gulf Coast Green Symposium “ It will take 5 years to change all the lite bulbs, 10 for the cars, 25 for buildings, 35 for land use.” It is logical to conclude that Form Based Code has nothing to with beautification and everything to do with Behavior Modification and is just the beginning of what the planners are planning.

The greatness of this community is a direct result of the buying decisions made by the citizens in pursuit of their happiness and use of their property. Not everyone at Friday’s news conference supported spending $8 billion for high-speed rail. Several people gathered at the Amtrak station held signs and even made negative comments while Sen. Dick Durbin was speaking. They questioned projections of economic growth from high-speed rail spending and the wisdom of spending so much money in the face of mounting state and federal budget deficits.
“I’m really upset,” said Jeff Strange of Bloomington.While officials say the money will help produce jobs and bring economic development, Strange said similar systems in other countries don’t work and taxpayers end up paying. In addition, he said, the claim that a $1 billion infusion will produce 20,000 jobs is based on freight rail, not high-speed passenger rail.

Don Tolan of Minonk held a sign that read: “Quit spending my money, my kids’ money, their kids’ money, their kids’ money, their kids’ money.” “I’m tired of politicians spending money like there’s no limit,” he said. “We’ve doubled our deficit in one year.”

Plane or train? Laura McNeil of Normal also held a sign, but not to protest high-speed rail.
“I’m bothered by the fact they’re here to promote Amtrak but they didn’t ride the train,” she said.

Gov. Pat Quinn, Durbin and several other officials at the conference flew from Chicago to Alton and then to Normal to talk about the $1.2 billion the state received from the high-speed rail stimulus plan President Barack Obama unveiled Thursday.

McNeil said riding the train would be much cheaper — something the state should be thinking about in the midst of its budget. “Last year, my kids got $4,000 in MAP grants,” she said, referring to the state’s Monetary Award Program for college students. “This year, they got nothing.”

Quinn and Durbin said using the plane was a matter of scheduling. “I’m the governor of Illinois,” Quinn said. “I can’t spend all my time on one thing.” Quinn said besides spreading the message about high-speed rail Friday, he also had to work on the state’s budget.

Secretary Lahood or Behavior Czar?

Transportation Secretary Lahood will be speaking to the McLean County Chamber of Commerce. As a former congressman from Illinois Lahood stated: “I think high speed rail is a bad idea because we don’t have the money to fund routes that currently serve Illinois.” However, since Lahood is now a member of the President’s cabinet he is pushing a train that averages 55 to 75mph as high speed rail.

The federal stimulus for high speed rail is $13 billion with a bill in the US House calling for $50 billion more over the next six years. Japan’s National Railway recently forced citizens to absorb $200 billion in losses and the European Union spends $100 billion a year subsidizing rail.

Proponents of High Speed Rail suggest that for every $1 billion dollars spent 20,000 jobs will be created. But these job creation estimates are based on spending for freight rail, not passenger rail. That figure also works out to $50,000 per job many of which would be temporary.

According to the Illinois Policy Institute high speed rail is part of the Obama Administration's "livability" campaign to reshape the lifestyles of average Americans. Secretary Lahood has stated “About everything we do around here is government intrusion into people's lives,” and "It is a way to coerce people out of their cars." In LaHood’s quest for controlling Americans and promoting sustainability the unintended consequence is Unsustainable debt and loss of liberty on the backs of the forgotten working man.

The issues of high-speed rail and government control of the Internet and news media have been rising in popularity among the people of our state and nation.
First, local and state politicians have been pushing and deceiving the public with so called high-speed rail in Illinois.
By definition, high-speed rail is any passenger train that travels over 120 mph and the rail line being promised for Normal tops out at 110 mph and will average a speed of 56 mph reducing the current rail trip from Chicago to St. Louis from 5½ hours to 5 hours.
Second, The Obama administration has declared war on anyone from news organizations, bloggers and private citizens who oppose their policies. This is behavior that you would witness from Hugo Chavez, Castro or Mao Zedong, not from a president of the United States.
However, frustration turned to optimism once I found out that Kristina Rasmussen, executive vice president of the Illinois Policy Institute, who has been featured on CNN and CSPAN, and Jim Hoft, proprietor of the "Gateway Pundit," are coming to speak at the Illinois State University Alumni Center on Nov. 11.
Kristina Rasmussen is an expert on the myth of high-speed rail and Jim Hoft's blog is read by 1.5 million people each month and he is credited with forcing Obama's communist Green Czar Van Jones to resign.

All of america thanks to countless media stories has heard of the "Religous Right." However, do to virtually no media coverage hardly anyone has heard of the "Religous Left." The religous leftist churches promote social justice and liberation ideology. These churches long ago stopped trying to save souls and encourage people to accept Jesus into their hearts to achieve a inner peace and joy. In sharp contrast, leftist churches preach political ideology and their followers are filled with anger about the injustices of those who Have alot and those who Have little.

According to the book "Betrayel of the Church" written by Methodist ministers Edmund and Julia Robb: "Alex de Tocqueville over 175 years ago observed that it is extremely dangerous for clerics to become involved in politics of any persuassion. When they do he said they are identified with their politics instead of their faith. One of America's great strengths was that the churches had not compromised their belief by acting out their secular opinions... As a result belief had remained unshaken."

There are a variety of reasons why someone would accept marxist teachings within a church:

1. Only the Minister and a small group within the church staff know about the real causes their dollars support.

2. A member may hear a few things that peeks their senses, but he or she doesnt want to cause any trouble within the church.

3. The person feels guilt for not doing much to help those in need , so they feel helping to finance
efforts to help those in poverty excuses the marxist overtones.

4. The person is insecure, stressed by life, fearful of the future and likes the Secuirty that an Authoritarian figure in a marxist realm would bring to their life.

5. The person is angry and blames the United States for all the world's problems. The marxist teachings of social justice appeals to them.

6. The person chooses to see and hear no evil, about the actions being conducted in their church's name. Knowledge would mean responsibility and they don't want that.

7. The person feels it is wrong that some people have alot, while others have little.

8. The person is self destructive and feels they deserve the horrific consequences marxism would bring to America.

9. The person has lost faith and marxism feels a void and gives them something to belive in.

10. The person is a true beliver in marxist & communist ideas and wants to promote Revolution.

It is difficult to understand how a church would align themselves with communist regimes around the globe with social and financial support and choose to ignore the politcial prisoners, the often thousands of innocent men, women and children who are murdered for refusing to conform to the marxist belief system, and in many cases the persecution of Christians for refusing to bow down and acknowledge governtment, or the great dictator as the supreme ruler. Perhaps, the most difficult thing to comprehend is that these ministers do not realize if a true marxist revolution occured in America they might be the very first people the regime would execute.

Wade Rathke is the founder of a movement he designed called "The Welfare Rights Movement." Rathke calls this "The Maximum Eligible Participation Solution." The method of operation is to get as many people on the welfare rolls and demand every single dime that they can recieve.
This is simply the Cloward- Piven Strategy which was designed by two Marxist Professors in a "Nation" article in 1966. The article was called "The weight of the Poor," The two marxist authors intended to devise a method for a "massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls in a effort to overwhelm our system causing it to collapse.

It is horrifying to know that organizations right here in the Twin Cities are all connected to these people in an effort to promote social, economic and racial justice. NPA / CIOP Why So Angry?

National Peoples Action are lefist extremist sometimes even described as militant. There method of operation is to bus in hundreds of people to invade the private property of high ranking elected officals and Business Executives. They apparently have their songs that they love to sing during their direct action protest sessions. One goes:

NPA is funded by the Tides Foundation, Ben & Jerry's Foundation and the MacArthur, Ford and Rockefeller Foundations and horrifically our TAX Dollars! The Mott Foundation also supports NTIC and monitors their progress anually.

Victims of NPA's so called "Direct Action" are Jack Kemp, Mitt Romney's father,Paul Volker, Ben Bernake, Phil Grahm, Karl Rove and numerous Bank Executives. In 2004 the Washington Post reported that a large group (angry mob) of several hundred surronded Karl Rove's house and after knocking on his door and numerous chants the group grew aggressive and started peering through Rove's windows tracking his every move and driving the children into tears.

Ask yourself who is the real angry mob? Is it Tax Paying Americans at Townhall Meetings who may passionately raise their voice, or is it President Obama's own radical lefist groups like NPA?

CIOP asks Fed for $1 Billion

The Central Illinois Organizing Project on Saturday met with Federal Reserve Officals at the Decatur Civic Center. The CIOP boldy asked for $1 Billion dollars for a Pilot Project to help impoverished areas like Downtown Pekin(?), and Peoria's Harrison Homes which are rebuilt every ten years it seems. It is rumored they got the meeting after protesting in front of Fed Chair Bernake's home. The NTIC and National Peoples Action allegedly used the same method of operation years ago with former Fed Chair Paul Volker.
Also the featured speaker was the Nation and Washington Post writer William Grieder a proponant of Global Humanism (One World Govt) According to Lewrockwellblog.com Grieder wants a group of Deciders or Central Planners to control our lives in the name of a Marxist Utopia. The american people who are waking are reading a book called "The 5000 Year Leap." This book shows us that the Founding Fathers belived Divine Providence played a large role in the founding of our country. Also it explains the importance of moral character and truth amongst all citizens in order for a Republic to survive. By contrast the radicals trying destroy our country follow a book dedicated to Lucifer called "Rules for Radicals"which teaches deception, ridicule, and win at all costs. There are Community Organizations in Bloomington Normal (NPA) who have been schooled on Saul Alinsky's Book "Rules for Radicals." Saul Alinsky dedicated his book to Satan: " Lest we forget, an over the shoulder acknowlegment to the very first radical:

"From all legends, mythology, and history ( and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins --- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that at least he won his own kingdom --- Lucifer."

Author David Horowitz explains Salinsky's dedication this way: " Alinsky begins by telling readers what a radical is. He is not a reformer of the system but its would be destroyer."

Alexis de Tocqueville said, "The American republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's own money."
The U.S. Congress is unconstitutionally bribing the American people with $4,500 to buy cars in the "Cash for Clunkers" program.
Many struggling families can't afford new cars and rely on the purchases of used vehicles. Hundreds of thousands of cars are being traded in and destroyed, not resold. This takes thousands of used cars off the market, driving prices upward. In turn, this dries up the supply of used parts thus inflating the parts market.
This program is bribing families to trade in their car that is likely paid for and go into debt. Isn't this similar to the programs Congress, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae designed that led to the housing crisis?
This program is extremely wasteful because, instead of keeping existing cars running, it promotes making a huge carbon footprint with a large energy output to produce new vehicles.
Also, the program will let you scrap your 8,000-pound 18 mpg vehicle and give you cash to get a new 8,000-pound vehicle as long as it gets 4 mpg more.
As the politicians, unions, ACORN and the media loudly applaud this program, it is reminiscent of a scene from Star Wars Episode III when Queen Amidala, while listening to the Senate, somberly stated, "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause."
